Additional Documents required by NVC

what is the name of the forum? I am having trouble finding it. I am new to this, so I apologize if I am being annoying

You are posting in the forum.  It is named after the visa you are seeking.  It has many topics.    This is one of them. Keep checking the other topics and read.  You'll learn many things including what you are specifically looking for.  You are NEVER going to know how long it's going to take though until your case is complete.  The proper expectation is 11 weeks.  If it's faster, great.

Hi! Yeah.. we got our case completed last oct.18.. 7 weeks after we sent the additional document that they need.

i received the letter requesting for further documents in august. It took me 2 months to get the documents, so my lawyer finally sent them to the NVC last week. Our case in so backlogged. It has already been 1 year since we started this process, and it looks like we wont be seeing the end of it for another 6 months  I hope we end up hearing back from them before 11 weeks! fingers crossed!!

Im sorry to hear that we started ours last sept 2016.. it has been a year for us too. Don't worry you'll get any news after 7-11 weeks. No we didnt get it yet.. thats what we're waiting. We got an email last week that im already in queue for an interview schedule. Hopefully it would be this year.

My case was completed within 1 month after they received the required documents that they needed from me. When I called them how long will it take for them to review my document? They said 11 weeks. However, my case was completed within 5 weeks instead.
