I have a question. If you file the papers for AOD status- and an employment authorization but didn't submit forms for a travel vis at the same time because you didn't have specific dates or a reason to travel back to the country.

 

 

is it still possible to apply for the travel visa? 

We already have the employment authorization card back for the initial submission but we are still waiting on a response from the green AOS submission that was submitted the same time? 

 

since it's still in processing can we submit a travel request??

 

any suggestions or thoughts?

I believe you can apply for the advance parole but you will have to pay the fee or prove you have a pending i-485 in process. Even if you manage to submit it and by the time you receive it you'll probably will have your green card

Yes you can apply. You'll need to send a copy of your i485 NOA1 with it. Also, you don't need a specific date or reason to apply for i-131 AP with an i485 so you could have applied.
