Is it really worth preparing for it? I mean we're prepared in the way that we have our folder in shape and ready but I feel like it's silly to practice considering the questions about our relationship are pretty straightforward.

There is no harm in just revising the whole documents and going over thru possible questions. I did my interview last week and a night before, I sat down with my husband and went over possible questions and how we will answer it. Our marriage is 100% genuine but I think it was still important for us to do that and it really helped 'cos my husband (USC) was very nervous to the extent that the CO had to ask him to relax😂. Thank God we went over the questions, it made it easier for both of us.

Hahah, thank you for your insight! My wife and I will go through everything the night before. We're both very laid back and relax and we should be composed during the interview.

Yes it's still a good idea to prepare. Mostly because you never know what kind of IO you'll get. You might end up with a very nitpicky one or one who won't be afraid to try and intimidate the couple. Plus it will help you and your wife figure out what details you remember differently. It seems strange but even long-term married couples will remember certain details differently.

That makes sense. Thank you for your advice!

I would say its a smart idea to prepare. In terms of documentation and letting ur spouse know of what's going to happen. My husband is a thinker so prepping him up helped.  I gave my husband (USC) an idea on what will happen during the interview based off on the stories shared here. It turned out that it was meee who panicked during the interview. My husband answered all of the questions coz I was like "uhm, wait" the IO towards the end of the interview said when u file for the removal of the condition of your GC, u dont have to go through this for as long as documentation is solid. She must have sensed that I "just died" in the room. We stepped out after 15 mins.
