"Conditional Visa Approval" Abu Dhabi Consulate

Hi,

I just had my interview today and the consul gave me a white slip stating that "conditional visa approval"

I am just wondering if anyone experienced this too?

I am worried if it is approved or should I need to provide additional supporting docs?

Thank you

we were told the embassy had to finish a few things and that we should "feel good" about the result of the interview.

a few days later the counselor asked for our Facebook account names.. and a letter of clarification on a previous marriage of mine.

one week later we were told that the visa was being issued and for my fiancee to send her passport back to the embassy for the stamp.... it worked out fine.

i think the embassy is just too busy to approve at the time of interview sometimes.

good luck!!!

You're fine. They giver everyone they approve the "conditional approval" slip. They gave the same to me back in January. After 3 days I got my visa. ☺

So relax, you're fine. ;)

Told you you'll be just fine. :)

That's really how they do it in the UAE. I still have that paper they gave me.

Congrats and welcome to the USA soon! :)

Hello @TheSkywalkers @Karen Reyes @babypj @jaybeltisroy and @Anne Darcerai apologize for tagging you all but I just want to confirm if prior to getting your visa via empost, did the consul ask additional documents from you guys same as Richard Moss? Because I was given the same slip too.

No I was not asked any additional documents. Consul just told me I was approved, gave me the slip, told me to wait for 3 to 4 days for an email from Empost on when I can pick it up (the visa) and sure enough, I got an email 2 days later telling me it's ready for pick up.
