Ok, if you want to have your name changed back you have to back and change your name. So that means calling up the Orange County clerks office to do that on your marriage license.

Hi all hope everyone is well. Has been 2 years now since my love has been in the US. So have not checked in here for awhile now.

Have a burning question. Is your wifes middle name suppose to change when you get married? For example if Mary Ramos Vargas married John Smith should her name now become Mary Vargas Smith? In my opinion after marriage her name would be Mary Ramos Smith. Hope what I am asking is clear.

Looks like an O-L-D topic got revived .

Ah .. you did not follow the Philippines naming format.  When married your sir name from single becomes your middle name and your take your husbands last name.   You most likely will have issues with DFA or any other Philippine government dept.

Yes it is a Philippine only issue.   You already know how to change a name ...  "and its expensive".     Or is it... http://www.courts.ca.gov/selfhelp-namechange.htm    http://www.courts.ca.gov/22489.htm
