I am in Hawaii too. I have seen PNB locations but when I went inside they only did remittance. If you are able to do it it would be good to know so pleased update. My wife is still in Philippines and opened a BDO account when we first started seeing eachother and I just send funds to her account. I also send in advance for my trip whenever I see exchange rate over 50.

I know. I see the same thing. The building on King street says "Philippine National Bank" on it, but it is listed as a PNBRCI, not a branch, in the website. I am guessing it is remittance only. The phone number has not worked today ("Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.") I just sent an email. I will follow up here if and when they respond.

There was also a branch like that in Waipahu and I actually went in. They said that they only do remittance.

Yeap. Same thing at the Honolulu office. I received an email that they are a remittance center. You can open a PNB account in the Philippines and deposit money at the Honolulu office, but there is a wire fee. Sort of defeats the purpose in my eyes.

Ya and I bet the wire fee is $45, same as doing it from any U.S. bank account to another foreign bank account
