Hello,

We applied for the AOS  in April 2017 got the NOA1 in May 2017 and completed the bio. We moved in May and turned in the change of address form. On 7 June we received the change of address conformation and on 06 June I received an email the a RFE was sent out, but we did not receive it in the mail. As of September 15 Tier 2 USCIS officers have sent 3 request to have them re-mail it and 1 supervisor also sent an elevated request to re-mail it. Still have not received it. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the Missouri service center to re-mail the RFE?

Thank you

September 15th was only yesterday so you wouldn't have received it yet...from the request made yesterday it would take normally 7-10 business days to receive it in the mail.  The request put in yesterday doesn't mean they physically mailed it yesterday though.  My guess is it won't be put into the mail until Monday at the latest.

The only thing you can do right now at this moment is wait for the mail to arrive and see if you get it this time (again since the request for re-issue went in only yesterday)

If you mean the requests went in before  September  15th----when was the last one made?

Have you tried scheduling an infopass to speak to someone in person about this?  They may be able to print you the RFE on the spot.

yes, I have been trying. My local office is Minneapolis, i have been looking 3 times per day for the last 6 weeks there is never an appointment available.  I did talk with an attorney as well with no solution given.

Appointment windows tend to open up right after midnight, I've seen reported by others around here.  I guess when they upload the database and remove cancelled appointments.  Try getting into one around then?  Think early in the morning when people are asleep normally---1 or 2 am.

I would suggest a walk-in, but I don't think they'd accept your reasoning for non-receipt of an RFE...they tend to do that mostly for emergency purposes only.

Thank you

When changing addresses, don't just change it via the USCIS website. Go to the USPS website and file for change of address as well so that ALL mails will be forwarded from the old address to the new one. It will only cost you $1.00.

That way, if USCIS fails to take note of the new address, USPS will forward everything under your name to the new mailing address anyway.

I am also an April filer. I did the change of address on the very same day that i had my interview. Officer updated it for me in her computer and she told me to file for change of address via USCIS website as well. Then my husband went online and filed a change of address for the whole family in USPS. So all mails under our family name will be forwarded to the new home address. After 3 days I got the approval letter from USCIS and 2 weeks later, the greencard.

Try to register for an Infopass. Idk if it will work but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I remember going to my biometrics appointment without my appointment letter because I somehow lost it, I took a chance and the ASC Manager printed out a new one for me.
