Yes, I received the advise of many wise people here, taht said, photos of the benefitiary (not needed) , letter of the bishop of your chapel for AOS (not needed), Western Union money transfer receipt (not needed)  but I included it! The more you include, the more evidence you have! Like I said, just in case, I think , that in this Journey, it's better to overego than to stay short in evidences!

Wow that is why when some people say this or that is not included I does tell them it best to include that way you can involve from getting RFE.

i swear I believe in sending things they don't ask for and I don't care if that might delay them from going though my file just by picking out what they don't need I just don't care just want it there and move on to the next step.

Only cuz it was a lawyer that is dealing with my case.

Oh no have you still not heard anything back? Hope you do soon! May I ask what your RFE was for? How long did it take for the first one?

In our case my wife and I decided to do it ourselves, based on advises in here, many time people gives you their bests advises BUT, is up to you take it or not, every case is very different and every adjudicator is different too, look, in your case, the adjudicator in charge of your case needed the photo! Is not required but he asked for! What you can do, only send them that and the other requested stuff.

Wow, firts of all, it´s so sad to me ear that you got a RFE instead of the NOA2!!!

Well, first, try to think about anything that you forget, a transaltion anything, just for save some time and have it ready...

Well a RFE delays the process about 30-60 days, there have been cases that takes longer, but is not too usual!

A letter like the posted here (this is an example, the content is going to vary according to what they ask in particular) will arrive at your mailbox there is going to be what they need you to send them:

Also, check this link to get the correct way to answer them and avoid extra delays:

Well, good luck and I hope you resolve that! Another thing, once you reply the RFE, then usually arrives the NOA2 after that, without more RFE´s!

Thank u so much for that sample letter it's very helpful. You have given me hope.

But of course, we are here for that, for help, explain (in my case at least when I know, when know, I investigate and provide the answer then). But well, we are here for anything that you or may  others need!

Great Saturday/Sunday for everyone.

An RFE can be for something as simple as forgetting to sign the forms, forgetting to include a birth certificate, or many other things. Don't worry about what it may or may not be. Whatever it is, there will be someone here who has been through the same and can advise you. It certainly doesn't mean that you have been denied.

Thank u for the hope.

as a note

The USCIS sends RFEs.

The NVC sends checklists.

Do not call what is asked for by the NVC an RFE as it is not.  The NVC does not approve or deny anything, merely checks for completeness according to DOS instructions.

Hey everyone. Well after waiting for a year and a few weeks I finally got a response from USCIS  and it was for a rfe. I haven't received it in the mail yet so I don't know what is the reason or what is additional evidence they're requesting. I just receive a general email saying that on September 15th which was yesterday that they mailed me in rfe. In the coming days I'll receive that in the mail I guess I'm very worried and nervous and anxious. I have no idea why I would get one. I'm a US citizen my spouse is in Pakistan. We have two kids together.

My question is to those people who have received an rfe. After you have submitted your rfe how much time do they usually reply to you by.

And are there any positive outlooks on getting an rfe I'm very worried.  A RFE doesn't mean no..right? Thanks

Mine they receive 9/5 and they approved me in 9/11
