I got married in the states on a k1, I'm adjusting my status but it seems like I won't need the green card because we'll go back to my home country. I know I can't be a green card holder if I'm out of the US.

My question is : How can I get back to the US with my husband  in the future? Is there any other type of visa I could do that allows me to go back and forth since we are married?

Thank you!!

Nope. If you want to come back to the USA, you'll need a spouse visa. Cr1 visa process takes from 12 to 14 months to complete. Then you get a green card on arrival.

You can always try a tourist visa but it's kind of a wrong purpose.. You wouldn't be going to the US to sightsee but to live.. Also as a spouse of the citizen you might have a harder time to get a tourist visa. They would suspect you want to just immigrate on it to the US.

If I were you I'd stay in the US to complete AOS and get a green card. Then apply for the re entry permit that will allow you to stay outside of the US for a year or two without losing your green card. Unless you never plan on living in the US then tourist visa is an only option.
