From what I have read, it’s the website that is compromised. 

I was having the same issus on my safari n chrome, someone recommended using Brave app on ios in earlier post and been using that just for visajournet. It’s been few weeks n no popups yet.

Thanks for the tip. I’m trying a couple of things with Safari first.

I have never once had a pop up on VJ or any other site, using iOS 11 and Firefox browser with always on tracking protection in the settings with basic block list.  Ditched safari and chrome due to pop up issues with other sites.

And I have never had a pop up that took over Safari except here. Ditto for Chrome.

I can no longer visit this website from my phone as I get all think junk "you're a winner!" ####### and I have to clean everything up afterwards. Using Chrome.
