basically my wife and i have known each other 12 years and been together 7 years

we filed for me coming to the states in 2016 time went by and seemed like it was getting no where and we slow grew apart day by day

but where still together anyway long story short i attend the interview last week in London and was asked for more documents that my wife told me to fill out (not sign) but i signed it at the time as her (my bad i through she meant fill it all out)

anyway a week later shes filed for a divorce and told immigration i forged documents ( where do i stand on a legal front on this?)

I am looking at a criminal record in my country ? or a ban from USA?

I am not going to be continuing the visa or enter the states any time soon but was wondering if anyone could help or know of anything (dont want this to ruin my life here in UK) i already lost my best friend and wife

Any help would do thanks

In the US, the crime is Forgery, and Criminal Possession of a Forged instrument.

The jurisdiction is federal.

so i would have that crime in the US? not the UK?

iam ok with being banned from the states just not having here in the UK

Now whether if you're going to get arrested or charged, all depends on how far any parties involved want to pursue the matter.

meaning my wife just so called filed to terminate visa with no criminal charge so called meaning i would just get my visa terminated? and that be that?

You broke the law in 2 countries.

If any one of those countries press the matter, you may be held accountable.

The complainants in your case may be...

1- your wife.

2- the people of the United States of America

3- the people of the United Kingdom.

Hopefully you don't get any misrepresentation, fraud charge INA 212(a)(6)(C)(i) slapped on you from the US Consulate, otherwise you will have difficulties applying for any visa to US in the future.

Could you still write in to the US consulate to withdraw / terminate your visa application?

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Your profile stated UK, so I found this:

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/iv-contact/

You should state your case number and intention to terminate the visa application / no interest whatsoever in further pursuing the CR1/IR1 visa application.
