Approved at the interview and now NVC tracker shows AP

Hi everyone.we got approved at the interview 2 days ago.and then now on the nvc tracker it shows administrative processing.What does this mean?can they change their minds after approving?

They will do the last minute checks and then the status will be changed to  "Issued". Congrats on your visa approval :)

A consular officer can only recommend for an approval. The approval is certainly not firm until the NVC tracker says "Issued".

 

And fyi, usually the NVC tracker goes this way: Ready > Application Received > IV - AP > NIV - AP > Issued.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

Oh okay.thankyou.sorry i was panicking a little since i already had plane tickets booked

As per various instructions pages, they do say not to book anything, quit your job, sell your house etc until you receive your visa :) But I am sure it will all work out so relax.
