K1 interview engagement ring

Hi all,

 

This may be a very silly question but I'm just wondering if anyone who has been through a K1 interview at the US Embassy in London has had any comments made about an engagement ring (or lack there of haha).
Long story short, I dont currently have an engagement ring for a number of reasons (want to pick it together, money needed elsewhere and well, hello its the 21st century and we will do it our way lol).

I've heard the London Embassy is pretty chilled but not sure exactly how chilled.

engagement rings only show that you bought a ring that generally can be returned and most of the money gotten back so they are not really good evidence of a relationship.

London does not care about engagement rings, photos together, additional  visit evidence, chat sessions, etc. They want the K1 beneficiary to show up with his/her proper documents from the list they provide, a passed medical exam in the file, and one I-134 Affidavit of Support with one piece of income evidence provided by the fiancé or another sponsor if the fiancé doesn't make enough money.

Thats exactly what I assumed. Just had to ask since i've read a lot on here about 'cultural norms' being taken largely into consideration. And, of course, its a cultural norm in both the UK and US to wear a ring once engaged.
