Early Medical

Aloha kakou,

Long ago I saw this mentioned, but now I cannot find it - so your help is appreciated. I remember reading it is possible to go in to St. Lukes earlier than your assigned date for the two medical days. My questions are -

What conditions have to be fulfilled before this can happen??

Do you have to let St. Lukes know beforehand??

Can anything else be done early while in Manila - such as attending the CFO seminar??

Here's the short story - it is somewhat of a burden for Joan to get to Manila from Pampanga. Once I receive our NOA2, I am gonna go visit Joan again and hand-deliver the NOA2, financial documents and myself. She will be traveling to the airport to greet me, and I was thinking it would be nice if she could take care of other things while she is there.

She can go anytime to have her 2-day medical as long as she has her Appointment Letter with her which she will be needing upon entry at the St. Luke's. She can also have her CFO certificate and PRISM seminar anytime. Bring the necessary papers when she goes to both appointments respectively.

I had my medical examination done 1 month ahead of my scheduled time. Also I did my CFO and PRISM seminar earlier so i will just have the seal when i get my visa.

You don't have to let the St. Luke's know before you go there, you can go ANYTIME. Also its best to go there in the afternoon at 1pm, i did mine both days in the afternoon. Hope that helps.

yeah its best if she has her Appointment Letter but i read from some members here too that she could still go just tell them and you have at least the NOA2 Letter or something

PRISM - People's Reform Initiative for Social Mobilization Foundation Inc., It's a guidance and counseling program that the Filipina going overseas need to undertake to have a certificate, it is a requirement together with the CFO certificate

Hi Bill and Joan!

Yes its possible to have early medical. I had my medical one month ahead to my interview sked. You just need your appointment letter from packet 4 or if u dont have, others says your NOA2 and the printed copy of ur interview and medical schedules generated online will do..no need to inform SLEC just go there with all the requirements.

CFO can also be taken in advance...

While here in Manila she can start getting BC, CENOMAR and NBI clearance, if she worked and lived in abroad more than 6 months, she needs to get police clearance/s where she's been. Some countries takes months to issue it. Hope these info could help u
