Should my fiance take a job in Libya while waiting for K1 visa acceptance?

My fiance and I filed for the K1 visa in August 2017, so we're about a month in to the waiting process.  He is a Tunisian citizen and today received a very good job opportunity in Libya.  We're considering him taking that job short-term while we wait.  Would that impact our  K1 visa and possibly adjustment to permanent resident later on? And if so, how?

I do not recommend this.  Libya is highly regarded as a country that is both politically unstable and terrorism-prone. Spending a considerable amount of time there could be questioned and heavily scrutinized.  This journey is a long and painful one, due to being away from the person you love. This is only my opinion, of course, but I believe it is best not to add even the slightest of complications.  Best of luck to you guys.

If he takes this job there will be more paperwork and it will be much harder for him because Libya is one of the countries  that is on the travel ban that will take effect on Oct 18 so you must do what is best for the both of you but I strongly disagree with taking a job in Libya because if there is an emergency and if you are here in the states you will not be able to travel to Libya to be with him....hopefully things will work for you both
