is there a way to find out the reason a case is place on AP?

My husband was denied a visa 212 (a) (c). He was accused of a crime in the military but was never charged.  He did spend time in jail.  But since his interview has acquired papers proving he was not involved.  How can he get a second interview?

when does the "case last updated" date change? I know it changes when someone touch the case, but does it change when they respond to emails or calls?

it changes whenever you send inquiry too

yup it any time they respond to an email, inquiry, phone call. sadly, not much comfort in the date changing anymore.

Hello everyone,

 

any news? anyone knows what the heck is going on at the american embassy in Cairo? this is so frustrating and upsetting. 5 months on AP and no responses from them.

We got married in January and I applied for the CR-1, still waiting

Thank you. I think we are ok with it taking time because we will be together and will work until we are able to come back to the US together.
