Congrats!!! Did you send all your paperwork to NVC? If so they should be scheduling your appointment in the next month or so.

Thank You. Our lawyer said she was going to send the approval to cd juarez this coming week I think. Do they give the appt right away I was hoping to have some more month to save up more money ?😦

You should have at least a couple months until your appt in Mexico so no worries! So excited for you guys! :jest:

Well depends on what you need. I spoke to my friend who just had her appointment in august. She said including plane tickets hotel medical appointment biometrics and food its about $2000-$3000 and she was there 1 week and they are a family of 3.

We were thinking going on the bus i think it might be cheaper not sure? do they stay at a hotel? I've heard of houses that people stay for a cheap price because their are more people staying there? do you know if its safe to take kids i have a 2 and 5 year old ? sorry i am so nervous i have been searching all day and still no answers how do they make the appt for  medical and fingerprints in mexico?

I think it is safer to stay at the hotels that are guarded by the consulate. The hotel stay is not too expensive about $40-$60 per night. You can take your children just keep them close. If you take the bus that might save you on air fare. It's ok I'm a little nervous too but just as long as you aware of your surroundings and stay close to where the consulate is you should be fine
