NVC usually takes about 11wks to respond after everything is sent. I had mine completed last year but then I canceled my first appointment to do the i601A . I know it was completeled in May and and I recieved notice in July. For both this time and last. You can check your NVC case status on their website.

Hello,

May, I ask how cancelled your first appointment. My NVC case done but I still waiting for I601A approval...NVC said, immigration did not notify them from waiver applied so next step NVC will schedule overseas interview...Any form? Or advise? Thank you so much!

Hello yes I emailed NVC and told them I needed to cancel my interview as I was waiting for the response of my i601a. I also emailed the US consulate of juarez since the case was with them.

Country of Origin: Peru

Filed 601a waiver in November 2018, (receipt November 6th), fingerprints processed December 13. Nebraska Service Center

Consensus across the online forums indicate the Nebraska 601A waiting time is AT LEAST 7 - 8 months.

Hopefully someone will respond with a rebuttal, but maybe wishful thinking.......

FYI - I dont think nationality has any bearing on 601A processing times.

Hi, that is amazing news! So happy for y’all!

What kind of questions did he get asked if you don’t mind me asking and did he get all his vaccines in Mexico?
