Ok thank you but where would i go exactly to get that and what is needed for it

Not sure of the address. Google can help. FGE Ciudad Juarez. It's a 15 minute drive from the consulate. $91 pesos, passport, proof of domicilio in Mexico (hotel receipt), birth certificate, copy of birth certificate.

Our attorney did the same thing they said they were waiting for NVC to send paperwork and I called check on that and they had send it to the attorney a year ago. I called to make sure they received everything.

That is horrible. I'm defiantly going to call NVC on Monday and every other day. I just can't believe they would screw up like that(attorney). Do you have your appointment date yet?

Why don't you just send it in your self? You just need the cover sheet they sent you. I had to do that since our person helping us decided to go on vacation and I did not want to wait when I could just simply send it myself.

At this point you can do everything yourself, in my opinion they are only needed for really difficult cases and to help with the I601A.

I'm honestly amazed how many people on your forum thread are getting horrible advice and subpar work from their attorneys.  So often I'm reading these attorneys are not filing their clients' papers quickly and are stalling cases due to their own incompetence.  Immigration law is tricky and my hope is that people who do use legal counsel find a licensed immigration attorney that works only on immigration based cases, and not general practitioners of law.

Our i601A case was received December 13, 2017 at NBC. I saw SO many cases transferred, but ours hasn't. We are at 6 months now. We called and USCIS said they are still processing cases that weren't transferred. Another girl on Facebook told me she called and USCIS said they are no longer processing cases at NBC and that ALL cases have been transferred. I don't know what to do/think. I see people getting approved in Nebraska in like 2-4 months. It's SO frustrating!

Our i601a case was received just a few days after yours December 15, 2017. We haven't been transferred either. I emailed our lawyer today to see if he can give me anymore information. Hopefully the December group gets approved soon. It is beyond frustrating!

Stacy! You are in that Facebook group with me, lol. I hope our cases move along soon!

The name that appeared in my emails from the NVC read "AskNVC" and the case number is usually in the subject line.
