Thank you for that info! I always wondered why they want police certificate from the USA since they have them do biometrics but who knows how it works with immigration.

They don't want it from the US, but we wanted nothing holding him there, so we got it for the interview.

Oh yea that makes sense, I did hear about someone on here though that just had their interview in which they did ask for his police certificate from the US. So we would rather like you just get it anyway just in case.

SO will we be needing to go get one from juarez as well even if I’ve  been in the US since I was 3

Yes. People who have been in the US since kids have been put into administrative processing for not having the one from Juarez. I see it all the time on the FB groups. I recommend getting it either way. We had the 1 from my husband's home state (he's been here since his early 20's) and they STILL only wanted the 1 from Juarez.

Ok thank you I’ve been in the US since i was 3 and i had one from my state but I didn’t know if i needed one from the fbi

It's not required. We got it because we couldn't locate 1 of his charges in our county. So, we just brought it along to the interview.

Sorry for all the questions, but if you don't mind me asking what charges did he have? I ask because my husband has an arrest on record all though no charges were ever made.

I have a question,if anyone can help. So I decided to contact NVC because I had the feeling my attorney did not put my email  when submitting the ds260 application. Sure enough it was not.for my luck they notified us that they sent our attorney an email requesting additional information since may1st. My question is, will NVC notify me when they receive the additional info?(I added my email address) I'm just worried that my attorney is taking his sweet time in sending the info. I just feel like I can't trust them anymore. The addition info they are requesting is the police clearance letter form Mexico, which we have and gave to them to send.but they decided not to send it🤦🏼‍♀️

Our attorney did the same thing they said they were waiting for NVC to send paperwork and I called check on that and they had send it to the attorney a year ago. I called to make sure they received everything.

Oh ok, did it seem like they already knew about that arrest? Or did they ask for the disposition of that arrest as in they did not know?

Already knew. It was 1 of the first questions asked in the screenshot I posted. The dispositions were sent with the 601A and then the NVC documents. My husband also had the certified ones on hand. The interviewer had them in front of him and never asked for my husband's copies. I can only assume he had the 1s from our previous submissions.
