Going on 5 months and haven't heard anything. Very happy to hear that cases from Aug. are being approved but feeling a bit more anxious not getting anything in the mail. 😭

Yours should be coming soon too! You can try and call them to check on it.

They havent sent anything 😦 they told me they are waiting for NVC to ask for the ds 260 and the i864. They just sent notice to NVC that we got the waiver approved and that we have to wait 11 weeks for them to ask for the ds260

Our lawyer gave us the option to submit the DS-260 and civil documents around the same as the waiver OR wait until the waiver was approved. We chose to have them done around the same time as the waiver because that would probably mean that we would have an interview faster, and in our case it worked out perfectly.

Our waiver was received on September 29, 2017 and about a month later (middle of October) we submitted our DS-260 and civil documents.

Our waiver was approved on January 3, 2018 and on January 9, 2018 our case was deemed completed by the NVC. We are now waiting for our interview in CDJ.

I guess we wont be getting an interview anytime soon. This has me so stressed out we were thinking that we would have our interview in March but we haven't even sent the DS-260 or civil documents.

Has NVC told you if you are in line for an interview yet?

You guys probably not  get in March, we sent our civil documents and did the whole NVC process at the same time as our i-601a like @newgirl01 so we may hopefully get a quicker interview date

Well after the ads-260 you should be sending all of the civil documents once’s they receive it, it takes 9-11 weeks for them to process them and then they schedule you your interview which is usually about 6-8 weeks out.

I don’t think our lawyer included that but USCIS does notify NVC we are going through the process because we received an email from NVC saying they will not schedule an interview until USCIS notifies them that we have been approved and that they will continue processing our case in the mean time

My i601A was approved in 5 month USCIS received  august 11 2016 and was approved on January 10 2017. Anyone here had interview (México cuidad juarez) and had to file for the i601 waiver for cimt- criminal ground inadmissible.

Have you committed any crime in the US besides overstaying or entering US without inspection?

Yes I had a felony but was reduced to misdemeanor. I have 1 cimt but from what 3 lawyers told me that looked into my case. I fall in the petty offense so I don't need a waiver for the 1 cimt I have.
