Hi, Just here because we share the same anxiety. We submitted our 601a in August and have not had a response yet. This anxiety is killing me. Does anyone know if the information that uscis gives you on the website the same vs if you call and get case status over the phone?

You should call sometimes USCIS runs behind! It’s happened to many on here! Who’ve called and have gotten a faster response on doing so.

Hi everyone just updating a bit we received a letter from NVC that it received USCIS notice that it is working on our i601a

Hi! We just received an email like that last week, 2 months after USCIS received and 1 month after he did fingerrints. I wonder if that is a good thing or bad thing its so late notice.

I wonder as well 🤔 its been a month since my biometrics as well. I’ve seen everyone receive a response around 3 months from biometrics! We’re almost there for a response

I hope so! Very anxiously waiting. That would be 2 more months for both of us hopefully!

You should call to check on your case. I have seen alot of end of September dates being approved already.

So weird! I guess we can not really base our cases based off of other approved cases. @Lman is from beginning of sept approved earlier this month and @newgirl01 and @momof4boys from end of September approved earlier this month as well. I wish our cases were easier to track , who knows how they do things over their. -_-

In a way I want to hear back soon and have this over with, on a flip side I want it delayed, since I am so anxious to leave.

Same here, but now I'm just more leaning towards getting it over with and getting answers which ever way it may go.

I forgot to update you guys, I finally was able to get an appointment at our local Mexican consulate so we can get the Mexico police certificate. We are going Thursday to get the power of attorney paperwork and fingerprints that we need to send to my husbands family out in mexico. But we are a bit confused, they are saying it is only valid for 30 days, but how is that possible if NVC takes longer than that to review and get our interview scheduled. And they were also almost not going to help us because they said that we needed to have an appointment in Ciudad Juarez before they can get it for us but since my husband showed her the checklist we got from NVC clearly stating no appointment can be made until we provide them the police certificate, that is when she said ok and started the process of getting everything done for us. So confusing.  Any advice?

Do you have your case # and invoice # from NVC? Does your lawyer send you the emails from NVC?

I talked again to the lawyer and they told me that they sent the notice to NVC about our waiver  approval does anyone know about how long after they send the DS 260 they give an appt for juarez? Thanks

Hi everyone, so finally I called to  uscis and was told they are still processing application from 07/09/2017. 😭 Unfortunately we have a received date of 08/07/2017 biometrics 09/05/2017.

It will come. Few more weeks. I think it has a lot to do with the workload of the officer who gets your case, some are ahead and some are running behind.
