I had to pay the ds260 then they send you information in how to make the appointments because they ask for certain information pertaining to that! I advise to send in the ds260

Yes you need to sending the DS260 before you can make any appointments. And you should make the medical and biometrics appointment after they gave you your appointment at ciudad juarez to be able to coordinate all your appointments around the same time. I dont know why your lawyer did not tell you that or do that for you.

Things are moving along! We have similar cases our priority date is on 11/13/17 and my husband is going to biometrics appointment on 12/13/17. He is so nervous!

Nothing to be nervous for. I was freaking out before the appointment as well, went in  did the fingerprints and had my picture taken, Out in ten min. No questions asked.

That's good news. In a way I want it approved and have this process over with, on a flip side I am freaking out knowing that I have to leave the country after so many years.... so much on the line.

My goodness, that's basically most of your life. Good thing you did the waiver before leaving!  It will all work out, it has to. I just can't  (don;t want to ) imagine any other way.

Hii everyone just wanting to share my progress as this forum helped me as well. On Nov9 2017 we sent our i601A they have the   receipt marked on Nov16 and we recieved this letter on Nov29. On Dec 4th we received the letter for biometrics for next week on Dec14.

Congratulations on moving one step closer! Looks like things are moving fast at NBC at this time of the year. Best of luck to you guys! Can’t wait till my waiver could be filed...

Thats is what is so scary to us. Being stuck in a country we are not accustomed to but hopefully that does not happen I am trying to think positively even though it is so hard not to think of the worst. ^_^

I have a processing date on 9/25/17. It will be 3 months on Christmas day.

You should probably get a response back soon, hopefully by next month! So fast! It seemed we were just talking about this yesterday  :o

We all have the same fears but we have to have positive thoughts and hope things are going to work out for the best. At least you guys get to wait here for the pardon with our loved ones now and alot shorter of a wait time.

Hello Everyone.

I am very confused I need help to see if anyone has had this happen or something similar. My husband filed an I-601A in May 2017. We have NOT had it approved yet but our consular interview appointment has been scheduled. Our Attorney said I-601A had to be approved before the appointment was scheduled. Has anyone had this happen?

Hello Everyone! Just An Update on this.

So USCIS never notified us or updated our case status online! Our form I-601A was approved in September! took them exactly 4 months from the filing date!

If your in a similar situation you might want to try calling the NVC, they were the only ones who could help me. Since USCIS is working kinda slow.

Good Luck to everyone!
