Hey,

My husband and I filed pur case mid May. They didnt touch it for ages and told us then that we used an outdated form (eventhough it was still valid and by the time we filed, the only one that was available). We sent in the new form and got priority date 09th of September. We are at the Potomac Service Center and uscis processing times are at end of March, 2017 *yaaay* :/. We havent heard ever since. Our case never also never worked when we wanted to Check the Status but uscis Said that they are working on it and that they dont know why the number doesnt work. I hate the waiting time

....

Its a long wait!!!! Lets hope early March approvals start rolling out. There are some July approvals already!!!!

I had actually called Wednesday afternoon and they informed me it was at the Nebraska service center and not to worry cause they where just working on Feb 2017 cases to give it another 2 to 3 months before it being looked at and last night right after finishing our good night call with hubby at 11:51 and 52 seconds the uscis app sent me an alert which I read like 20 times before I decided to check my case status online and just like magic my case now was active:whistle::blink::jest:now we wait to see what this transfer means:unsure:

To the the other guy who said its at another service center i think he is wrong cause when it goes to another service center it does not say local office. Local office is the point where by it takes 2 months to 3 months and they call for an interview this is what i searched for all over google and immigration lawyers all are stating this. Please keep us updated cant wait to hear the good news

We hope not my attorney said that it has to be done locally because the immigration ordered an expedite on the application because he is detained and we appealed his deportation and court has jurisdiction

Did you get any answers? Is your spouse here in the US? I have heard of people that are here waiting to get their green cards get sent to the local office. I would speak to a lawyer if I were you.
