So, filed September 2017 and we just now have been put in queue for interview in Auckland, NZ. My Question, how long does it take from being in queue to getting an appointment date? Ive seen other forums saying it's taken them 3-5 months??😟

cc july 25th and still waiting for an interview date.

Consulate: Montreal, Canada

It all depends on your consulate, you will get your interview depending on how busy or slow Auckland, NZ embassy is.

My wife is in México and I received an pre interview in Puerto Rico. They approved the i-130 there and now I'm waiting for NVC to send me the welcome letter so I can pay the fees and then wait for her appointment in the Embassy.

Hello! I was trying to reply to someone who asked if anyone else had an interview prior to the i130 approval. Guess it posted it in the wrong section.

No worries. The only time I’ve heard of an interview prior to an I-130 approval is when the beneficiary may have marked that they were in the U.S. before...either legally or illegally and detained and/or given removal orders.
