Petitioner name mismatch

Hello all,

 

The answer might seem obvious but I want to make sure.

 

I have never used my middle name in any official documents simply because I forget I have one most of the time. So my passport and marriage certificate have my first and last name only. My birth certificate has my full name however. 

 

So in the i-130 should I put my full name where it's asked and my first and last name in other names used?. Will it be a problem that some documents leave out my middle name?

I think, since most of your documents don't have the middle name, that putting the "full name including middle" into the "other" section seems more reasonable. There's only one document out of several that has it spelled out like that.

Hopefully, putting down both names is enough and they aren't ####### about putting them in the perfect order.

You have a middle name.  When asked for your name and given a space to enter your middle name, interpret the question literally and answer accurately.
