Hello everyone i am writing this to help anyone that has there interview coming up

My husband just had his on 08/31/17 Well to start he had his medical exam at servicos medicos de la frontera they offer free transportation to and from the clinic and also to pick up the the results. He did take about 2 hrs there and had to return at 3 to pick the results. Then at his biometrics he was in and out only about 15 min there but they ask that you dont arrive early for they will not let you in until the time of your appointment i say 10 min before is just perfect. Our hotel offer free transportation to and from the consulate area since it was a bit further away than all the other hotels. Then the day of his interview he had his at 8:45 didn't take anything other than his paperwork he was in there a long time about 3hrs and he says they didn't ask him much. Only what was my name our marriage date and the date he entered the US. and he was approved walked out with a green paper ans smile on his face. Now we had to wait for the package to arrive which it was going to arrive at the ASC which is where he got his biometrics done. They told him how to track the package which the next day we tried and nothing so since it was a Friday i wasn't going to check again until the start of the week. On Saturday morning at 10AM i got an email stating the package was ready for pick up! i could not believe it they only took one day to process the package! When he went to pick it up he was in and with 5 min. Now to cross the border we went in our truck so we headed over there to the boarder! The lines were crazy i think since it was a long weekend anyways once we got to the front they made my husband get off and go into the office and asked me to park and wait for him. He took forever almost 2 hrs but he finally came out! He says they just asked him where he was going and what he was planning to once he got there but that the other people were getting alot of questions asked and all of there belonging search and since he had left everything in our truck and only got off with our paperwork maybe that why they didnt ask him much! Also maybe because they had already searched our truck while i was waiting. Any how to sum very thing up we got there Monday afternoon 8/28/2017 and left 09/02/2017 that only 5 days! thank you to everyone of this community for there advise and stories they do help! Also we stayed at the Villa Del Sol Hotel the rate is grate it is about 15 min away from the consulate but they offer free buffet breakfast they also take you to and from your appointments and the staff and security are awesome!
