:help::help: HELLO EVERYONE THIS BOTHERS ME SO I HAVE TO ASK IF ANY OF YOU GUYS EXPERIENCED THIS ,I WENT FOR MY INTERVIEW AND I DIDN'T HAVE A PROB BUT WHEN I WENT FOR MY BIOMETRICS THE A# OF WHICH I HAVE ON MY EAD APPT. LETTER THE SAME A# IN MY PASSPORT AND MY I-94 WAS NOT IN THE COMPUTER (IN THE ASC OFFICE) AND THE WOMAN WHO WAS ASSISTING ME FOR MY BIOMETRICS ASKED WHERE DID I GET MY A# ? I WAS STUNNED! DUH! BUT THEN I TOLD HER I WROTE WHAT WAS ON MY I-94 SO I HAD TO TAKE A SIT AND WAIT AGAIN. SO THEY CROSSED THAT A# OUT(BIOMETRICS LETTER FOR EAD) AND THEN THEY WROTE SOMETHING LIKE PER M.S. ON MY BIO APPT. FOR AOS AFTER ENCIRCLING THE A# FROM MY AOS BIO APPT. LETTER. SO WE DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHY THEY HAVE TO CHANGED THAT A# NOW MY WELCOME LETTER ARRIVED AND THE SAME NEW A# WAS THERE AND THE EAD CARD ARRIVED AND GUESS WHAT IT'S THE SAME NEW A#. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY OLD A# NOW? SO IS THIS MY NEW ALIEN NUMBER? PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NORMAL I WILL REALLY APPRECIATTE IT.

PS. I HAD TO DO MY AOS &EAD BIOMETRICS THAT SAME DAY AFTER THE INTERVIEW BUT MY REAL SCHED WAS A DAY AFTER MY INTERVIEW.

Don't worry, it happens. Not a big deal, I also got a new A# for my AOS. Not sure why they do it, but they do. So from now on your new A# is the number you should use.

August 14, 2006 - Welcome to the US letter and I-130 approval received in the mail

August 15, 2006 - Permanent Resident Card received in the mail

So far so good
