Question about a co-sponsor for the affadavit of support.

All of my income for 2016 was made overseas so doesn't count, apparently, so we now need a co-sponsor for our CR1 application.

My question is: for the co-sponsors affidavit of support - do they include my husband in their household size?

My friend is willing to do it with her husband and they have a household size of 3. Would our income bracket (for meeting the 125% over poverty guidelines) be 3 because that is how many people are in their household or 4 because the size would include my husband?

Thanks!

As far as I understand, it is the number of people in the household (all those included in the tax return) + 1 (your husband).

So if your friend and his spouse have a child, that's 3.... add your husband and that's 4.

So you need an income of 4 plus the 25%.

I hope that helps :)
