You can certainly follow up with and finish medical treatment for you health purposes.

It is not necessary to do that for visa or future visa purposes as was the OP original question.

Good Luck!

That might not be that bad. Those whose culture came back positive before the 60 days incubation is over are instructed to report to SLEC immediately to start treatment the soonest.

At this point you can only wait. Take note that if you test positive for TB and  require treatment better if you do it with SLEC. The downside is you have to report to them everyday 5 days a week for 6 months. If you want to do the treatment elsewhere which is fine, SLEC will ban you for a year. Meaning if you need to do another medical with them (maybe you get back together with your ex fiance or you found someone else) you won't be able to do so until then ban is lifted.

Seriously! But anyway it's ok as long I will be cleared. I prayed that it will be negative so no hassle

thank you

Make sure to contact your ex so he could withdraw the i-129f petition as the previous commenter mentioned. It will come up should you apply again in the future.

I know you are already looking forward to a possibility of finding someone else and maybe applying for a visa again. I won't judge you for it. But at this point, focus on your health. And very important, if you test positive and if you are living with other people, family, make sure you have them tested as well and start treatment asap. TB is a treatable disease but it is highly communicable. Treatment at local health centers are free.

True. But the purpose is also to check for illnesses and if OP tests positive for TB she has to do the treatment.

She has already started the medical and was just flagged for another test due to her x-ray result. She already paid for it. She should proceed with the tests.

The OP can most certainly continue with the medical for health purposes but that was not her original question.

Hi, anyone can help me. During my medical. Me and my fiancée is no longer in relationship due of differences and he cannot wait for me due of medical issue. I don't know what to do. I wanted to continue my medical because I don't want this to be the cause of refusal incase I will apply for another visa in the future. We didn't communicate anymore but I still on the process of medical. Please can someone give me advice what will I do.my medical was delayed due of sputum test. Now I am waiting for result. Either positive or negative I want to finish my medical. Just to be professional to the embassy. And to be clear to my case.

please thank you

Sorry this happened to you but there is no point in going forward with the medical if your fiance and you are no longer involved.  It will just be a waste of time and money.  You cannot use this medical for a future fiance.  Wish you the best.  God Bless,  david

if Is turn positive Shall I continue in st. Lukes but we didn't communicate at all. Relationship was ended.it makes me worry if is positive that I need to be treated.

Don't worry if it is positive.  If it is you must get treated.  At St Lukes or wherever you can.  Don't go without treatment.  That would be crazy.

Thank you for your messages. Yes and I will not use that medical in the future my only concern is I don't want this to be the cause of denial if one day I found the right person for me. I don't want the embassy thinks that because of medical issue I did not continue my visa application. I am just worried of the consequences that might affect me. That's why I want to continue for the purpose of health and being responsible of what we start.

Please don't say that.

She may not be able to use this medical for her current visa application (petition filed by her ex) but this will definitely have an effect on any future visa application and not just for the US but other countries as well.  SLEC (St. Lukes Medical Extension Clinic) is the ONLY clinic accredited by the governments of USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc. here in the Philippines. If the OP tests positive for TB, it will PRIMARILY not be be about the visa. She has to do the treatment ASAP. It is about her health. Though TB is no cancer it remains in the top 10 killer diseases in the country. That's why they are far more stricter with applicants coming from our country. But SLEC keeps records and if OP tests positive for TB on her medical for her US visa application, that will come up when she does her Medical say for Canada, Australia, etc. in the future.

STOP DISCOURAGING HER FROM PROCEEDING WITH THE MEDICAL. JUST FULL STOP.

EDIT: She already paid for it. Everything is included in the fee here, even the treatmnet.

It will not be a cause of denial. You cannot go on your interview unless you get treatment. The test and treatment will cause delay and inconvenience but not denial. TB is treatable.

Yes I understand I will cancel. I mean to say if someone file a petition for me again in the future. Do you think this will be the reason to denied my visa? If I filed again?

thamks

Why do so many immediately think of being petitioned again when a relationship ends?

Well it might happens, we don't know for sure.

I'd be more worried about the fact that I potentially have TB, if I were you, than looking for another American boyfriend to take me to the USA.

Focus on your health. That's far more important. If your boyfriend wasn't prepared to wait for the treatment to be concluded, he was never really your boyfriend. Don't waste time on people like that.
