I have a friend who is going through the CR1 visa process in Ghana. She got Case Complete toward the end of June. Her interview was just scheduled for the end of October.

Hopefully it will speed up. For now, continue to prepare evidence for the interview and quiz your partner. My husband and I went over questions every night on the phone and it helped him be more confident going into the embassy.

I read a comment by another person whose case was completed in June ending and the interview is scheduled for October ending. Hopefully, this can give you a picture of the current time frames.

I guess this interview time frame is peculiar to Ghana. I got mine concluded in August, got a mail from NVC on the 8th for my checklist and the interview date on the 11th of the same month with a month notice for second week in September.  I had my interview already, passed with visa issued.

That's why I said I guess the delay is peculiar to Ghana, mine was in Nigeria and from the day nvc contacted me with a checklist letter, it was just 3days apart when I got my interview date......yea passed and got the visa already. I guess the embassy has a lot of applications being handled at the moment. Best of luck!!!
