Hello.. after a month of not hearing anything regarding my J1 waiver application from USCIS I called the NCSC.. Tier 2 couldnt find my case on the system after several attempts so he said he would send them a service request to figure out WTH..

Well.. that was Sept 1.. today I received a letter from USCIS Vermont saying they need the DOS case number so they can help me with my inquiry.. but they didnt say where or how to give that info..

I called the NCSC again.. I thought it would be something as simple as looking up my Ref number and adding a note or something like that.. but Tier 1 said I should mail USCIS the info they required..

My question is.. could I emailed them instead? using this email https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us

or do I really need to risk them not getting my correspondence again and do it via snail? (which would be next day and tracked of course) I dont have any time to waste...:help:

So which would be best email or mail?

THanks!!

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS
