Processing Times for I-129F (Fiance) at USCIC

Hello,

I checked the USCIC processing times and most of the service centers are only working on fiance visas (I-294F) from February 1st! They are OVER 7 MONTHS BEHIND! I'm not trying to be political here, but do you think it is because of the new Trump administration and a dislike of immigration? Could it possibly just be they aren't staffed as well as they should be? I've also heard he has not staffed large numbers of positions, but that may just be the upper tier or leaders, I don't know. Could it just be they get a big influx of applications at the first of the year and the pace will pick up soon? I sure hope so. I filed in mid-June and I was hoping to at least get the USCIC approval this month but it looks like there's no way that's going to happen.

I think you mean "dislike of ILLEGAL immigration"....right?

I guess you are new here.  USCIS has been "behind" for months.....and they were before President Trump came into office.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Immigration is not part of Federal Budget

it is sponsored completly by our fees so the Director of Immigration runs this organization / however he was appointed by Trump in April

Lee Francis Cissna who was once served in Office of Chief Cousel for immigration

He is strong on illegal immigration

The website isn't being updated. They're at April 27 now ;) My NOA1 date is April 26 and I'm hoping to get my NOA2 this week.

YAY! Thank you so much! I'm so happy they are further along than I thought! Again, didn't mean to get into a political firefight, just wondered if the change in administrations has possibly had an impact on the process and if anyone had any insight into that. I hope you hear something this week. That is SO exciting! Good luck!
