Philippino stores in Chicago? (split)

My wife and I are in Wisconsin but my wife keeps asking me to take her down to Chicago. Apparently her Filipino friends at work gave her some dried fish she has been craving (she is pregnant) and they told her they got it in Chicago. We have an Asian store around here with some Filipino stuff but not a huge selection. Also my step son misses Jollibee and I hear there is one down there. I think we will be taking a trip down there in the next couple months. Where is a good Filipino store in that area?

There isn't a Jollibee in Chicago. See http://www.jollibeeusa.com/storelocator.html.  You might want to start your own thread with this topic as this one is more than 8 years old with no one following it any longer.

Hey I looked for you and there are a fair number of Filipino stores and eateries in North Chicago. Also there is an actual Seafood City as well down there. I took a snippet of it but it won't let me post it here sorry. 

 

Edit. Yes, there is a Jollibee in Chicago and it's in the same area as the Seafood City.

Yes, there is a Jollibee in Chicago and it's in the same area as the Seafood City.

@jg121783 Jolliebee's in seafood city has been open since May. Seafood city will be the largest filipino store you can go to in the Chicago land area.  There is also Unimart which has 2 locations in the Chicago area, 3R's and Kaptatid.
