I don't think the threats and violence from the extreme Left are new, just as the white supremacists and neo-nazis have been around for some time, but it is nice to hear someone other than a MORer, or MDRer acknowledge that the SPLC is politically biased toward the Left.

 

Btw, you can say whatever you want about Antifa, or Occupy, or BLM, just like the extreme Right groups they have violent elements that come out when they feel their voices are not being heard.

  There is a difference between violent groups and hate groups that seems to be difficult for some to understand.

 I never supported Hillary, but the term alt-right predates her campaign. I think you just illustrated what the author said though. You don't see a cult like group around Clinton coming up with excuses, translating every tweet for her benefit and defending every mistake as someone else's. The blind worship of Trump by the alt-right is certainly suggestive of a cult mentality, as the author suggested.

 

  Again the author is a conservative and an expert in the field. There is no liberal bias at work here. You don't have to agree with everything he says, but you should read it.

Where are these violent elements in occupy and BLM? Last time I asked that question I was provided black men in hoodies close to riot police.

Let's see, I seem to remember a police ambush in Dallas perpetrated by a follower of BLM?  I am sure the BLM leadership extols non-violence, but as I said earlier, all groups one every side have their violent elements regardless of the leader's words.

So this is where your attempt to compare breaks down quickly. The groups holding torches in that park in Charlottesville are very open about their goals of hatred, violence and bigotry.
