It’s depressing that people have to wait so long for an interview after already having waited years to get to this point!

Imagine interviewing, then waiting for 7 months to get an oath notice and every time you go to USCIS or call them, they tell you everything is perfect and you shouldn't worry. That's what happened to me! It took one good officer to take a deeper look at my case and told me that my file was physically in the wrong place and went and moved it while I waited then gave me my notice on the spot. You have to stay on top of things with USCIS or else they mess up.

mine was the same day. Got three notification, you attended, in line and oath scheduled/mailed. Next day I saw it in the documents tab.

My estimated case completion was Apr 2019 then it disappeared.

Since yesterday they added 5 more month, now estimated case completion October 2019.

Mine too! It increased for another month. Anyway, I got a notification earlier saying my oath letter was mailed so that was 7 working business days after I passed the interview.

that's awesome! You were lucky I guess. I received a notification earlier that my oath letter was mailed so here's hoping I'm gonna have it soon!

The below OP is Dec 2018 filer from Holtsville, NY and got an interview notice last month for this month interview.

I think January 2019 will be the next to receive, hopefully this month or next month.

If I filed for N-400 under 3 year rule. I provided all documents when applied- passports, driver licenses, bills, apt lease information, joint bank accounts, etc.

 

If I change address and update my driver license, does my wife needs to update driver license address too? Do I need to bring new bills and joint bank account statements with new address to the interview?

Your wife doesn't have to update her driver license since she will not be with you for your N-400 ( if given the ROC is already approved). But yes, you have to bring the updated apartment lease, utility bills and joint account, because the IO might or might not ask for it, it is be better to be prepared.

Make sure as well you submitted your change address online to make sure everything is line up accordingly.

I have an issue and need advice. According to the Interview letter, I have to bring in my wife's Birth Certificate (Applying under 3 year Rule), the biggest problem is, we have been searching forever to find this document and cant find. The interview date is upon me and I have no Birth Certificate. Ordering one, according to the Information from the NYC Birth Records, it will take 28-35 days from the date of ordering to receive the Birth Certificate.

Anyone else had the same situation or what else can i show them?
