Green Card Application Receive Date: 10 Nov, 2011
Green Card Priority Date: 10 Nov, 2011
Green Card Notice Date : 15 Nov, 2011
Green Card Approved: 30 April, 2012
Green Card Received: 22 May, 2012

 

I was eligible to apply in March 2017, but I forgot.

 

N-400 Applied: 05 June, 2018 (NBC, Online)
Fingerprints Appt and Submitted: 28 June 2018

 

Resident in New York City (Manhattan)

 

When I applied on 5 June 2018, my online status stated my case completion of May 2019.

 

After submitting my fingerprints, the case status moved to March 2019.

 

During Christmas 2018, my case wait time was 60 days, but this changed to 30 days this week.

Yes, USCIS is not funded by the government so the operations continues even the shutdown.

Actually, it is funded by the government but since the funds mainly come from applications fees they can keep open.  However if they need to liaise with other departments in terms of particular cases, it could mean those cases are delayed.

Hey guys, I just became a citizen today.
I previously filed in Queens NYC during Apr 18, online filing, and I moved to Jersey City last November.
I went through the website, followed all the instructions to change my address.
I received my notice almost immediately that my case has been transferred successfully in my USCIS account.
Within a few business days, I received a letter stating my interview was immediately scheduled for 1/16.
Went through the whole process with my interview, and the officer told me I will be doing my oath taking on the same day.
we are so thankful for all the people that helped us in this process, and hope our experience can help the next person with their journey as well.

Looks like Brooklyn office is the slowest.

I filed online but I live in Brooklyn. I am still waiting.  Filed Feb 2018.  My dashboard is now saying March 2019 and the "we are taking longer ..." message.

Hi, any idea if Holtsville, Long Island, allows same day oath ceremonies? Has anyone had that happen?
