Congratulations!!! Keep an eye on your mailbox. You should get the letter within a week or 2. Your interview probably will be in the last week of November or 1st week of December at Federal Plaza, Manhattan.

thanks for help my brother, i think my interview will be long island, my younger brother did his interview in long island, he applied in may 2017 and his interview was 18 september 2017, his receipt number start with IOE****.

Does any New Yorkers know if it's possible that one never receives "In line for an interview" but their status skips this stage and receive "We are scheduling for your N400 interview"? Thank you!

its the same "In Line for an interview" is the title and "We are scheduling for your N400 interview" is the description.

Yeah it happens to people. The case status does not change but people receive their interview letters or the interview is done and they receive their oath letters without the case moving into Scheduled for Oath Ceremony.

But most of the times, the status changes accordingly.

Hi New Yorkers, 

I am not sure if this is a technical glitch. I logged onto my USCIS account a minute ago and this is what I saw on the first page (Pic 1). It says USCIS has scheduled me for an interview. However, when I clicked on " Try it now; or re-visit the new account experience." and it led me to a new USCIS Account Experience website , it still says "We reviewed your biometrics" (Pic 2). I am not sure if this is just a technical issue with both systems. Am I really scheduled for an interview??? I can believe it happens so quickly. I hope this is not just an error.

What does it say when you just put your case number on the general Case status webpage ? I am talking about the one where you dont sign in with your account. The one below.
