Maybe i should just pop up there i just wasn't sure if it made sense to do so if i didn't have an infopass appointment, will people actual see you? Considering its still "within processing time" and i haven't had the interview. I will try and hope something comes of it.

Schedule an InfoPass. I had grounds for being there because I was told I should wait four months and I was there after eight months.

 

You should try to book an InfoPass after 1 am or around 6 am and go try your luck.

I did, and they said it was a glitch update, but now have put on my file to say expected completion jan 2019... which would make it 13 months in Brooklyn.

We have the same situation, January 2018 filer, the main USCIS site said there was no information, but the other site where you have to use the special code to log in says the case should be completed by November 2018.

Hey Guys!

 

Had my interview in Aug 16, and was recommended for approval.

 

On the Online N400 site last update is "We have approved your application"

 

On the case status site, they have me in line for oath ceremony. 

I do live in Putnam County and I know they have Sep 12 ceremony coming up. Wondering how long should I wait before I follow up either by infopass or phone call regarding where I am in line for oath ceremony.

I submitted my application on 8/8/18, and I got a response that the estimate is 22 months!
Has anybody received a long estimate which later didn't turn out to be so long? I'm hoping that's going to be the case.

That number doesn't mean much, I wouldn't pay attention to it. From looking at recent entries, you can see that people have very different timelines even when they applied from the same place, at the same time. I would say the average for NYC at the moment is closer to 10-12 months, but again there is a lot of variation so that's to take with a grain of salt.

10-12 months sounds accurate i waited 9 months to get an interview after my fingerprints were taken. so it will be 10 months on the actual day of my interview hopefully no more than an extra month for the oath.

Thanks. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your oath either.
I'm curious, did you file paper or online? Would you want to add your entry to the chart? I can help with that if you give me your dates.

 

It seems like it's only a handful of us 2017 applicants still waiting for interviews.  I'm at 11 months and still no interview date. Hoping it comes soon!
