N400 interview passed on May 1st. But case was placed under supervisor review and on May 2nd supervisor review was completed. It’s been more than a month and half and there has been no updates.

Besides sitting tight there doesn’t seem to be much option. Any one else waiting for oath after being placed under supervisor review ? If so how long does it take to get a final descision or the oath letter ?

What a coincidence, I wrote last night about getting no updates on my case after interview and supervisor review completed. And this morning I received a text from Uscis and I have been placed inline for oath ceremony. What an amazing  news to start a Monday.

Its been a month since my interview on May 15th which I passed and was told that I would be recommended for citizenship. My case status still says "On April 10, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization". My parents who live a block away had their documents sent a month after mine(paper filing also), and their interview was June 11th. They got their letter today with a ceremony on the 26th! Something has gone wrong with my case. Where can I check on this?

Hi ,

I had my oath ceremony on Friday at 500 peal street , got there around 9:45 , I was in the first line of the Jury room by 10 , my wife and kids took seats and waited for me to get checked in , first line checks your documents and takes your green card , you are then directed to a second line where they check your info and give you a new citizen packet , to go through both lines took 45 minutes , after the second line i was asked if i wanted to go to the cafeteria on the 8th floor but be back in the room by 11am , i declined and waited for the ceremony to begin , there was 162 people from 51 countries and 11 no shows , the judge gave a nice speech with some political undertones , all in all it was a nice experience , we were walking out by 12:30 ish ..

Congrats!

From my understanding it's about between 5 to 7 weeks on average for oath date from interview date in NYC. So it was expected. During my oath, the family that was sitting next to me had their interview way later than me, but they were waiting to have enough people (in my case about 261 got naturalized) on that day. So it takes time to schedule the oath as well. Just being patient is the call for the moment. Wait for about 1 or 2 weeks to get your oath letter from today. Rest of the folks NYC always tests our patience just hang in there. Your turn and time is near by.

Yes that is true, since I filed paper and going back on the list in here, most of the people got naturalized after a month and a half from interview date. So I was planning to give it a window of about two months in my case from my interview date. Hopefully by early July or mid July my case will be wrapped up. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I've been in the waiting list for the oat ceremony since Feb. 10th and I have called multiple times to inquire about the long wait, I just called again and they say that the waiting time right now is between 10 and 17 months for the whole thing to be process, which sucks as I was hoping to have this done by Oct. As I am going on vacation. Anyone else waiting this long?

Passed interview and recommended for approval since March 5th, still waiting for oath. Every time I’ve called , they say it’s within processing time. (120 days). Knowing that you’re way past 120 days since interview is not encouraging.

Hi guys

I'm new to this group and I have some questions and hope someone can give advise.

I have successfully removed my conditional status this month and I got my 10 years green card already.

I'm planning to file N-400 based on 3 years rules (Married to US Citizen).

Below are the docs and evidences I have prepared to include on my N-400 application:

*I-551 card and approval letter

*Marriage Certificate

*IRS transcript for 3 years 2015-2017

*US Citizen spouse's Birth Certificate and Passport

*Health Insurance Policy for 4 years 2015-2019

*Join Account Bank Statements - March to May 2018

*Bank Reference Letter

*Apartment Lease Renewal for 2017

*Cellphone statements Family Plan - March to May 2018

My question are, would it be better to include all the joint bank statements from the last time I filed for ROC which was May 2017?

Meaning should I include June 2017 to May 2018 joint account bank statements or latest 3 months joint account bank statements would suffice?

Not sure if the online system will allow me do upload it since it will be a huge file size. Also, please let me know what else can I include for my N-400 application.

Thanks in advance and good luck to all of us. :)

Well, the evidence they usually ask for is from the day you got married until the day you filed. You can provide a couple of statements from 2015, a couple from 2016, and so on, and the same goes for the apartment lease and the cell phone bills.

So i had my interview yesterday day at Federal Plaza. room 8-800

The IO was very nice, polite and all business like. So no outside jokes nor depressing times.

My appointment was at 10, i came at 9, security line was very long but moving quick, Sec guys were rude af -_-

I reached to the room and finished my check in around 9:30, got called in shortly and done everything at 9:54.

So the interview was very very short and simple

She sworn me in. Proceeded right away with the tests, and then go through my application.

Asked for my passport, green card and 2 copy of my passport photos (thanks so much to @chungwai79), she did take my finger prints and photo at her office.

I applied through 3 years rule, she just asked if i still married and lived together.

Asked me if i were travel, when was the last time. I did travel outside US in January for 2 weeks, it was not in application so she took notes on it.

And then she show me the paper of info will show on my naturalization card, told me to check if there is any problem, then signed on it. She told me my oath will be scheduled in Brooklyn

Lastly, she show me the receipt of today interview, my case was "cant not make decision yet"

She told me the decision letter will come within 2 - 12 weeks, give them a call if I sill not receiving it after

She walked me out, that's all. Happened so fast that i didnt even have a chance to give her my new tax return, tax payment, banks and other updated paperwork. Or asked why i were not approved.

My case was frankly simple, had no problem prior application, so i guess because i traveled during application pending they need additional background check since last time was in July when i did my biometrics screening.

Hopefully will hear something soon. Below are the English test questions
