Update. My son’s oath ceremony is scheduled. Had his interview today.

What’s happening with USCIS? Now the oath ceremony is cancelled. SMH

You stated that after they placed you in line for oath ceremony they issued your naturalization certificate. There’s no mention of you taking the oath or getting a date for the oath ceremony. Did you attend an oath ceremony?

USCIS works in mysterious ways  
I hope your journey completes fast. My oath is also scheduled in early may but again still in limbo as there was only a phone call and no mail / online account status update so far.

I wish USCIS was a bit more verbose about the status of each case. Friggin Fedex and UPS updates are more clear now where they'll tell if you if a package was delayed due to a train track issue or something. Here we are guessing for weeks whats up and sometimes relying on hacks like FOIA requests to get things moving. sigh.

Mine was like:

 

Decision could not be made > (same day) we recommended your appl be approved > (same day) placed in line for oath cerem > (same day) ceremony cancelled. > a month later received phone call > (10 days passed), sitill no mail or online status update.

Try infoserv. Maybe they can print it out. Or call them. Did you get the ID of the officer who spoke with you? It truly sucks when you want to get things over and done. This shouldn’t be so difficult.

Thank you. My oath notice was finally issued.  scheduled for next month. I’m almost done with the journey.

Yes I finally saw a notice show up so now I no longer have doubts. Before that I only had the phone call to go on and I wasn’t 💯 sure if it was real or if they made a mistake.

I just saw a pdf of the notice for my son with the date. Check your account and you will see it. You can print it out just in case

That’s my plan as well. Is their oath scheduled in cyclones stadium ?

It’s done in the federal building. Look at your letter and you will see the floor in the address section. I can’t remember which floor I went to when I did mine but my son’s is going to be the 6th floor.
