My interview was scheduled recently after about 23 months or wait. (Filed may 2020)

 

Anyone knows if Brooklyn office has oaths on same day after interview or it can take x days or weeks of wait?

 

Also how bad is the passport process after oath in Brooklyn?

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

My daughter had interview in Brooklyn javits center on January 24th and got scheduled for oath ceremony same day for the Friday Jan 28 th . For passport when I did mine I paid extra for expedited service.

I'm confused. The Javits Center is in Manhattan and as far as I know all the interviews are conducted at Federal Plaza, including for Brooklyn applications. You're saying she was interviewed for N-400 at Javits Center?

Hi guys, 

I file N-400 for my son in early Sept 2021 and was touched on Feb 3 for case update which stated that the pending time is 9 months. Today, after 4pm, case tracker had an update which stated that his interview is scheduled and he will be receiving his letter in the mail. He has not received any email or text for this last update even though they received the information. I will update this thread with the interview date when the letter is received. Our field office is the Federal Plaza.

Had my interview in Federal Plaza.
Passed the exam part but unfortunately they said they'd need to go through my case for 'quality review'. I only had tax transcripts (jointly filed) and our W2s - all from previous address for last few years. Officer asked for documentation to show we're still together. I mucked up by not taking any of our joint bank account statements / utility bills etc I think. Officer said it can take 30-60 days now.

Same day, my USCIS account changed to 'in line for oath cermeony', --> to then 'oath ceremony cancelled'.


I guess the case will be in a limbo for a while now  given that it took ~ 2 years to go from filing to interview with all the covid nonsense and what not. 😵
