Just few days:) I thought maybe contacting earlier helps since they may check the case and update it sooner.
How should I contact them so I can get an answer?

After such a short amount of time I definitely wouldn't contact them if it was me, as I think the only thing it would do is annoy them, and make them less likely to work on your case.

If you really feel you have to though, you can email through the online portal or call the main helpline and ask for a tier 2. As I mentioned before though, they are pretty much just going to tell you to wait 120 days.

Take it from someone who's been waiting over two years since filing now, you'll drive yourself crazy if you keep obsessing about it. I'd just try to put it out of your head, and see what happens. If nothing has happened by 120 days you have a lot more options open to you.

I had my interview for N400 in Brooklyn office. The officer said that she is not going to make a decision at the moment and I should receive the decision later. So I received a paper mentioning a decision can't be made...

I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience recently and what is the time frame that I should expect for my case to be approved and oath ceremony being scheduled?

Same Happened to me on June 30th. I received decision approved on July 3rd.

Did he give you any reason?

No reason specified. Just told that I will receive the decision later.
Happy that you're approved. I hope I hear from them soon. Did they provide you a reason why they didn't approve your case at the interview?
Have they scheduled your ceremony?
Also that's interesting that you had an update on a Saturday.

No reason for me either. Same thing. They scheduled my ceremony for July 30.

Sorry, I made a mistake, the decision was on Friday the 2nd.

Man, my wife had one hell of a ride this past two months.  I was so depressed I didn't want to post anything here.

She went to her first interview, aced the questions, writing test - had a nice fun conversation with the interviewer, then denied because she couldn't explain what it meant to take part in a paramilitary.  Confused the hell out of her, and she choked.  Interviewer stopped asking questions right there and failed her on the basis of not knowing English.

Second interview, the interviewer just asked her the yes/no questions then messed up with the income tax forms we provided.  He read them wrong and said she owed thousands in taxes, when we were actually refunded that amount.   He said she passed but needed to provide an RFE with receipts showing that she paid the IRS  each year from the last 6 years.

That RFE was easy to fight, but it added time to an already frustrating experience.  They responded to the RFE in about 10 days and now has her Oath ceremony scheduled in a few days.

Can't wait for that day to pass...lol

Oath ceremony scheduled for 7/29.

Can fully vaccinated oath-takers (defined as >14 days after Pfizer, Moderna second dose) take oath if they returned from overseas flight within 10 days of oath?  It's confusing - seems that fully vaccinated are exempt from requirements but want to be sure.  Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Congrats to all naturalized citizens!

Yes, you can. I had my oath last month and I came back from the international trip a few hours before the oath. I was asked for proof of vaccination.

Before my trip I had called up USCIS and confirmed this thing with a Tier 2 officer.

Good Luck!

Thanks, good to know.  Does that little CDC card serve well as evidence of full vaccination?  Is there any other documentation required?  Cheers!

I received an update stating that ceremony will be scheduled. How long does it usually take to receive the ceremony letter after this?

"Will be scheduled" or "is scheduled"

If it's scheduled then I received the letter in my inbox the same day. If it is "will be scheduled" then the local office has still to set the date.

H1B: Feb 2001 (London)

L1A:  Jan 2014 (London)

AOS: May 24th 2016 - June 20th 2017

N400: March 23rd 2020 - June 29th 2021

Passport: July 1st 2021 - August 30th 2021

Social Security: July 1st 2021 - October 5th 2021
