Anyone else had an appointment at 26 Fed Plaza tomorrow? I had my oath and just got a text from USCIS that they're closed - trying to confirm that it's canceled for sure... I know it'll just be rescheduled soon, but was so close!

How long did you guys receive your oath schedule after the interview?

By the time I got to my car from my interview, I was line for oath. 3-4 hours later, oath date was scheduled. Nothing special about my case. I’m sure a bit of luck 🍀 was involved to be scheduled so fast

Interview was on 6/8/2021 and oath ceremony letter was uploaded to USCIS portal same day for me. I assumed you checked the portal? The interviewer said that even if you are approved on the spot, if the system is down during the interview the approval has to be entered manually after the interview and that could cause a delay of up to 2 weeks. Hang in there. I would say reach out to USCIS if you don't hear back within 2 weeks from the interview.

My interview was virtual interview maybe thats why. Also I remember the officer told me that my oath should be in 2-3 weeks in the mail.

How was your interview virtual? Did you not receive a paper at the end that said whether you were approved or if your case needed further review?

NYC is doing both virtual and in person interview. My interview was on the ipad and a printer next to it. The officer printed a paper after the interview saying I passed the tests and recommended me for approval. The officer said that I was approved and I just need to wait for the oath schedule.

Interesting - I had no idea! Well I'm sure you'll hear back within a week since you were approved on the spot. Keep us posted and good luck!

Biometrics notice 3/17/21

Interview scheduled 6/22/21

How long after "interview is scheduled" notification does the actual mail arrive

Congrats! I was able to see the interview notice in my account under documents the same day itself. Usually it's there within 24 hours.

I received the hard copy in mail in about 3-4 business days.
