Congrats and thanks for sharing!! I have my interview on April 8 and this made me hopeful that I'll also get my oath soon.

Were you applying based on the 3 year rule or 5 year rule?

Thanks! It was 5 yr rule

I'm June 2020 filer. Only update on my case was biometrics reuse letter in February. It seems even March 2020 filers still didn't get their interviews scheduled.

Today I see an updated status. Not sure if means anything

Your next milestone: receive your biometrics appointment notice

Time until decision:

approx. 28 days

Found today an interview notice in my online account!  Notice issued 4/05, interview set  for May 18. Applied for N-400 in June 2020 online, Manhattan ( live in Westchester cty),  5 years basis. GC holder since '95, work basis (visa was L-1 back then). Since, was married, have two citizens children, a young adult and a teen,  I was the last "holdout" 🙃.   Things are moving!

Hello all,

For those who recently had an interview in NYC, how long after did you have the Oath Ceremony?

I filed June 26, 2020 and just received the interview notice back on April 6 yay!

Oath was a month after interview

Just an update:

I had my interview on April 8th at the Brooklyn office (applied Feb 2020, fingerprints March 2020). The officer said I was approved but that I will get my oath letter in mail.

Nothing has happened since, the online status still shows "interview was scheduled", hope to get the oath letter in the next week or so, I have an emergency international travel and I will have to leave by May 1st...

AOS:

01-05-2017 - NOA1 received

05-03-2017 - Verbally approved in interview

05-26-2017 - Card was mailed

Update - Had interview today in Long Island, approved.  Took 51 weeks from application to interview.

I also had the interview on April 15 in Long Island. Did the IO indicate when you should expect to be scheduled for the oath ceremony?

No.  Online it says a letter should be received within 30 days.

Thanks! Let us know if you will see any updates. Also, regarding fingerprints, did you receive letter in the mail, or both mail and online status? I dont see any updates online regarding fingerprints reuse.

not ideal, but if you must leave in may, bring a letter [or have someone drop off for you] to where you interview was, you will just be dropping off. [get a reciept]. let them know you are leaving and when you are available for an interview.
