Manhattan seems to be significantly behind Queens / Bkln. Filed early October 2019 (13 month ago) and not a peep...

Same here. I filed on Sept 30, 2019 in Manhattan. Still no news

Time line:

filed September 2019, Suffolk, L.I.;

interview scheduled for April 2020;

then descheduled due to COVID-19;

Interview rescheduled for late September 2020 and I passed it;

Waited for 6 weeks until early November to receive the oath ceremony date, early December, 4th;

Here is my question:

we sold our houses after receiving the letter for oath;

I then changed the address to Manhattan;

what will happen to my oath ceremony? Will they cancel it and transfer my case to Manhattan?!!!

You should definitely get in touch with them, its been so long. It should have been scheduled by now.

Had my interview today - wanted to post to give people an idea of what happened and some more info on timing.

Applied: September 23, 2019

Office: Originally Manhattan, then moved and switched to Brooklyn in May 2020

Interview Date: November 16, 2019

Arrived ~1 hour early just to be safe, went through security and went to waiting room. Was called in ~15 mins after I got there (and ~30 mins before my interview was scheduled). Interviewer was very friendly / personable and the whole thing took about 20 minutes. My civics questions were: (1) What is one thing Benjamin Franklin was famous for? (2) Who is in charge of the executive branch? (3) Name two federal US holidays (4) What is the highest court in the US? (5) How many voting members are there in the House of Representatives? (6) I don't remember the last one...

At the end the interviewer told me I was recommended for approval and will get a notice in about 2-4 weeks when my oath ceremony is scheduled. For now, my status on the case status tool is "oath ceremony will be scheduled" and my status on myaccount.uscis.gov is "You attended your interview".

Good luck everyone!

October 1st 2019 filer here, just got my interview scheduled for December 22nd! Couldn't see the date for the first 2 days until they uploaded the letter online. I'm a Bronx filer, which I think gets lumped with Manhattan. No name change, so will be going to Federal Plaza. Hoping for a Christmas surprise! 🤞

I got scheduled too! For December 21 in Manhattan. I would like to ask for a name change, but am not sure how much that would prolong the oath scheduling in the current circumstances.
