Yes, I requested name change,my offer told me the waiting time is the same, no matter change or not . I passed the interview, approved the interview and oath ceremony will be scheduled at the interview day. But I've been waiting for my oath date to mailed out for 8 days .

FYI, I waited 1 month for my oath date to be mailed....

I had my interview last Thursday and got rfe I brought the requested documents today and after a few hours my status change to in line for oat ceremony. And I saw documents tab say your application has been approved.

just a few point I applied on 3 yrs rule the officer was very interested in my marriage like least agreement, my son birthpaper, bank statement, insurance, and it’s weird but he ask me to get a letter from my job  and spouse job stating the date if employment and a copy of information I put down when applying like emergency contact and marital status . He wanted 3 yrs of everything with both names . Be prepared bring a copy of everything just in case . And good luck

Did you bring the documents to the officer to go to the 26 plaza building in person ?

Did you request name change as well?

no name change, interview passed on the spot, no complications. I do not think there's a rule on how they schedule the oath
