Does anybody know how long it takes in general these days to be scheduled for the oath ceremony after passing the interview? I saw that for @simsim2 took approx 2 weeks, I am wondering if anybody else is dealing with this. Tomorrow will be 1 month since I attended and passed my interview, and I still did not hear anything regarding the Oath...

What does your online status say? (eg: waiting for Oath, or something else)

In that case I don't think you need to worry, it will be coming soon.

If you had requested a name change it seems to take longer too.

No name change. I got married in between this entire N400 process, so they adjusted my new last name during the interview...

So frustrating, I'm checking this online account probably like 3 times per day ....

Yes, I'm very familiar with that! Been waiting since having my interview in February!

I could be wrong, but I think if there was a name change, it needs to be a different type of Oath in court.

I particularly asked her about that, and the officer told me I am not requesting a new name change, since i have a marriage license that proves my new last name...

You are waiting since February for them to schedule you for Oath?!? i mean I am aware of delays because of covid... but still... damn... you should have been first in line to attend the ceremony once they openend.

Ah okay, I dont know too much about the name change thing.

I've been waiting since February for them to approve my case, I'm not even scheduled for an oath yet. It sucks!

It seems like both you and @simsim2 had that status change in a day or two, I've been waiting a week and no updates at all online, still says "we've scheduled your interview"...

Agree, but simsim2 got scheduled in like 2 weeks more or less... i'm still waiting. i was curious if anybody else is dealing with this.

Did your officer approve you on the spot?

pfff... there's no logic then... I thought they had it automatically more or less after the officer officially approves it...

we need more patience I guess... :(
