I'm a June 2019 Brooklyn filer and had my interview last week (was notified early January)

Wow congratulations! Mine isn’t N400, I filed for I-751 in early June, status still says ‘case ready to be scheduled for an interview’ . Idk how long it will take to get an actual interview

This is the wrong forum for I-751, you want the 'Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion' group, and there's a June 2019 thread.

For information though, my I-751 is still outstanding from Sept 2018.

Didn’t they ask you anything about outstanding I-751?
for my case,  I’m waiting for the interview to be scheduled for I-751. There’s no specific timeline for I-751 in Brooklyn. This is why I’m following this thread.

I see.

Yes, they asked about the I-751, but they hadn't received the file from Vermont, so couldn't approve either the I-751 or the N-400.

I wish you had a conbo interview and get the process done. Good luck with your process and thanks for sharing info.

My wife had her interview on 2/20 at the Brooklyn Field Office (26 Federal Plaza, 8th Fl.), having filed her N-400 online at the end of June 2019. We thought it was pretty quick from application to interview. Her I-751 had been approved about 6 months before we filed (we filed separately to avoid slowing down the ROC), and at the time of the interview, we were married for 5+ years. We uploaded a ton of evidence (joint bank statements, 3 years of joint tax returns, our lease, car deed, joint insurances,  etc.), and by all accounts the interview went smoothly. She passed the civics test right off the bat, was asked the standard questions about her application (whether she reviewed/was familiar with the oath; confirmed that she had no criminal history, etc.). At the end of the interview, the officer gave her a form that said a decision cannot be made, despite giving her every indication that there were no flags/no concerns. As of now, both the USCIS status check and myUSCIS have not changed from "my Interview was Scheduled". Though we are not worried that anything was amiss with the application, we are a bit perplexed. I'd be curious to know if this has happened to anybody else, as I see many folks who are approved on the day of the interview...

I had my interview yesterday. Everything went very well and smooth. My interview officer was very kind. It took around 30 minutes, but I had to wait almost 2 hours for my number to be announced before the interview. Anyways, I passed the test and my case was recommended for approval. When I checked my uscis status last night, I saw that my status changed to "oath ceremony will be scheduled". That's what I'll be waiting for as the next and final step.

Good luck everyone

My status changed to “On February 24th we scheduled your interview” even though that’s the very day I had the interview and was recommended for approval!! I waited over 3 hours to be interviewed. 🥴🤷🏼‍♂️

I am facing the same situation although at San Antonio office. Interviewed on February 10th. Officer mentioned that the status would change overnight to approved but still stuck at "Interview Scheduled". I had a clean N400 application. The officer only wanted to look at the GC. I was given form with recommended for approval box checked. I know from reading on uscis website that after interview the file is handed off by IO to a different officer who does the final approval. I am also confused and a bit restless with the turn of events.

Hi guys,

I received this message posted below from USCIS in response to my request online for  N400 Interview. I have been waiting for almost 14 months to be scheduled for an interview. Does anyone know how long it take to schedule an interview after such message is received from USCIS? My case is at the Long Island field office. Please see below;

Requesting information about your N-400, Application for Naturalization.

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office.

That seems like a longer wait than would be expected for that office. The response you got was generic. You’re better off calling and asking to speak to a level 2 officer to see why it’s taking so long.

Hi everyone. I filed for my N400 in September of 2019 (NY). It was a non marriage H1b converted to GC and after 5 years type case.
When I checked my account last week the estimated completion date had shifted from June 2020 to July 2020.
I assumed that because of backlog everyone is being shifted back so no big deal.

However, today when I logged in the estimated completion date has completely disappeared.

I have been searching the internet but can't find anything. I called my lawyer and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I was wondering if anyone else had similar experience or knows what it means.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, don't worry, it happened to most people today. So it's not particular to your case/situation.
