Seems longer than for those from Manhattan who are interviewed in Manhattan - seems to be just a few weeks for them.

just to keep updated, My pd is march 2019 (Queens office). I went for the interview on 11/13 at Federal Plaza and the officer was so nice that he made the decision right away and changed my status to oath ceremony was mailed after I left the building.

Yesterday I checked my uscis account and oath document was uploaded and my oath will be at Cadman Plaza on 12/04. The wait is nearly over and thank you all so much for being with me along these journeyyyy :)

Any February 2019 files from Manhattan?:) There's no change on my case status since my biometrics taken in March 2019. My estimated case completion date seems February 2020, but I am not even sure now if that's realistic.

Hi,
I need a suggestion regarding my Misdemeanor conduct which i did in Last year October. I jumped over subway turnstile, NYPD fined me $115 and later on Judge dismissed the case(on my favor). I mentioned it on my I-751 application, provided the letter of disposition from the court and i got 10 years GC on September 2019. But i forgot to mention it in my N-400 application. I know it should be added on  section of "Information about you". But i have couple of questions

1. Which question its fits most? Question 23,24/25?
2. My N-400 interview scheduled on 26th of this month?! How should i mention it to officer that i forgot to add it?
Anyone had same experience? Please help me!

Thank you all!

Definitely mention in the interview. It won't be an issue. But make sure you take the proof that you paid the fine - original copy, not photocopy.

I've had an arrest for a misdemeanor that got dismissed and sealed. I answered all questions honestly and provided the disposition documents. It wasn't a discussion at any part of my GC or naturalization applications.

The key is that the case was dismissed and you've come this far without issues. That's good. It won't be an issue in the future. You need to disclose the information every time it's asked. It is important that you stick to the fact that there's a judge's decision on the matter in if it turns into a big discussion or you feel like you are being interrogated. I've been told that it happens but it isn't supposed to.

Here's what I think:

1. You have been arrested/cited and charged so you need to say YES to 23 and 24. The case was dismissed so I don't think that counts as a conviction. I would say NO to 25. Question 29 is where you explain also.

2. Just like with everyone, they will go over your application and ask every single one of those yes and no questions. So you'll have to say YES. Bring all documents related to the case. Hopefully they will not mind and just proceed as normal but I'd be ready for a little delay on the approval. It is not in anyone's interest to create more work and processing over a dismissed misdemeanor charge.

Thanks for responding. Oh lucky you. They told me I passed the interview but I should look out for a letter. They didn’t schedule me that day. Wondering how long it would take.

I had my interview on October 22nd, I got approved but I am still waiting for my notification for the Oath Ceremony and have no clue when it will happen and it's been 2 weeks now! I saw people getting it on the same day, but they stop it after 3pm and since my interview was at 2:45 pm I missed the opportunity to get the ceremony on the same day 😢

Hey, good afternoon. Hope you are well. Just wanted to know if you’ve gotten a notification for your oath ceremony yet.

filed N400 in march with pending I-751

had interview in Federal plaza 2 weeks ago. I reside in queens,NY

took my hubby and additional evidence, we were interviewed together.

all went well. didn't say if case was approved or not

status online hasn't changed since we scheduled your interview for n-400 and for i-751 we transferred to new office.

anyone similar experience? i see most cases get online update the same day

I had my interview on 26 November. Everything went well, interview officer was a pretty nice guy. I mentioned the misdemeanor which i didn't mention in the original online application of N-400. Officer said don't worry about it since it has on the system already. I mentioned it( misdemeanor) in my i-751 which got approved in last July and got 10 yeaes GC. Interview officer give me the letter stating that i have passed in the exam but don't approve my application since its require more review. So my question is anyone had same experience? Since my interview status hasn't changed in online. I am bit nervous about that.
